Amitabh Bachchan has now penned a rare, emotional blog post for son Abhishek Bachchan and his struggles in the industry. Sharing some unseen childhood pictures of his son, Big B wrote that Abhishek continues to give 'silent' surprises to himself and to ones he is close to. Calling his recognition in Bollywood 'deserved', Amitabh wrote, 'the silent surprises he keeps giving .. not to the world not to any in profession but to himself and to his near and dear .. his recognition deserved and craving attention .. his efforts ..' Making a reference to trolls who are always trying to put his son down by taking jibes at his acting skills and the films he does, the senior actor wrote, ' his talent and his perseverance in the storms of nay sayers, ominously crowding him .. and his nonchalance .. continuing regardless , undisturbed unperturbed .. exhibiting the grace and generosity of his up bringing in keeping the legacy he inherits alive and spreading each day ..' Abhishek Bachchan is often faced with criticism but he takes them with class and grace. Abhishek completed 20 years in the industry in 2020. Since the beginning of his career in 2000 with JP Dutta’s 'Refugee', Abhishek has been repeatedly compared to his megastar father, which, sometimes, overshadows his hard work and his films. Around the late 2000s, junior Bachchan took a two-year-long break and returned to the screen with Anurag Kashyap’s film 'Manmarziyaan', which was liked by critics and audience alike. The projects he took up during the COVID-19 pandemic have also been lauded. Earlier, in an interview, he said, 'The fact is he has never picked up the phone on anyone. He has never made a film for me. On the contrary, I have produced a film for him, called Paa.'
