Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan says 'often calms my anxieties by looking at baba’s pictures from NSD' | Hindi Movie News - Bollywood - Times of India

Late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Time and again, Babil has talked about entering Bollywood through his social media post. However, there is no confirmation on when fans might be able to see him on or off screen. But recently in a social media post, Babil revealed that he has been extremely frightened to join the industry without any prior training in acting. While this gives him anxiety, he also shared the simple mantra that helps him to find his way and it’s no one other than his 'baba' Irrfan Khan. Sharing a throwback picture of his late father with Tabu, he wrote, 'I know it’s been a minute. When my superstitions allow me to, I will reveal what I’ve been busy with, but there’s some stuff cookin.' He added, 'Anyway, since I’m obviously extremely frightened on having started my journey in Indian cinema without any formal training on acting and 8 years too early, I often calm my anxieties by looking at baba’s pictures from NSD and earlier films. Here’s something for his fans :))' Well, looks like the picture that Babil shared was clicked during the shooting days of Irrfan Khan and Tabu starrer 'Maqbool'. For the unversed, Irrfan and Tabu have worked in various films including, Life of Pi, Guilty, Haider Maqbool, and many more. The Vishal Bharadwaj directorial, 'Maqbool' also featured Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles. Well, Babil often shares heartfelt posts on social media remembering his late father, a few weeks ago he had shared a screenshot of whatsapp chat between him and Irrfan. Sharing the same, he wrote, 'This was intense on a level I could not explain. I was deleting unnecessary chats from my WhatsApp and I found this. For f**k's sake. I was almost about to text him back just for the thrill of feeling like mera bhai idhar hi hai mere saath.'
