COVID-19 vaccination drive has been expanded from April 1 in India to include every citizen who is of 45 years of age or more. The condition of having specified comorbidities is being done away with. Joining the vaccination drive, Tusshar Kapoor also received the first jab of COVID-19 vaccine. The actor took to his Instagram handle to share the pictures of him getting the dose. Earlier, Tusshar had also shared a picture of his parents Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor posing with their doctor as they got vaccinated against the virus. Similarly, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi got his COVID-19 vaccination done. Dilip took to his Instagram handle and shared his post-vaccination picture and shared that he and his wife took the first dose of vaccination. Further requesting everyone to make sure that whosoever qualifies the age bracket of the vaccination gets it done, he wrote, 'Asli mazza ‘JAB’ ke saath aata hai!' Earlier, actress Malaika Arora too took the first jab of the COVID-19 vaccine. Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress shared a picture of herself wherein she was seen taking the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine at a hospital. She captioned the picture as 'I took the first dose of the COVID vaccine. Because #wereinthistogether! Let's go warriors, let's win this #WarAgainstVirus.' In the caption, while urging her fans to take up the vaccine soon, she also expressed her gratitude towards the COVID-19 frontline workers. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan also took to social media to reveal that he along with his family and staff have got Covid-19 vaccine shot. A while ago, Anupamaa fame Rupali Ganguly tested positive for novel coronavirus. As per the recent update, the actress has been tested positive for COVID 19 with mild symptoms and has gone into home quarantine.
