Ahead of Sushant Singh Rajput's first death anniversary on June 14, the late actor's family found out that certain people are taking advantage of the dire times for their own gains. SSR's sister Meetu Singh took to Twitter to clarify that the family hasn’t authorised anyone to raise donations in SSR’s name. She even urged such people to refrain from doing such a thing. Meetu wrote, 'Unfortunately, it has come to our notice that some people are taking advantage of this situation for their own personal benefits which is an unexplainably inhuman act. All these people are required to refrain themselves from doing so.' Further, she tweeted, 'We would also like to bring this to everyone’s notice that the family has not authorised anyone to raise donations or funds in the name of SSR and no one has the consent to make anything about or related to SSR, be it a movie, a book or a merchandise.' In another tweet, she wrote, 'The family is not fond of turning a devastating tragedy into a profit and we will not allow anyone to do so.' Furthermore she added, 'With relentless efforts all the SSRians have been chasing Justice for Sushant as their only motive and I assure you all that the family is fighting for is justice with equal desperation if not more. All the SSRians have the freedom to continue Sushant’s legacy.' Recently, SSR's sister Shweta Singh Kirti took a break from social media ahead of her brother's death anniversary. Followed by her, actress and Sushant's former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande also announced her break from social media just recently. Talking about SSR's death case, after almost a year, Sushant’s flatmate, Siddharth Pithani, who was absconding was arrested by the NCB in Hyderabad. And after the arrest, Sushant’s house help were also called in for questioning once again.
