She's young but she has had more than her fair share of trolls and haters and she knows how to tackle them without letting them have the power to crush her spirits. Recently, too, she had to deal with an army of trolls, offline, on Arbaaz Khan's celebrity chat show. While Khan read out several unpleasant comments about her acting, accent and 'artificiality’, Ananya maintained her calm and responded with a smile. One user wrote to Ananya saying, 'Oh my god her accent, my ears are bleeding.' In response, Ananya said, 'I’m so sorry. I’ll send a tissue to you.' She also wondered aloud why people call her ‘struggling didi’. However, she said she finds it 'really funny'. Furthermore, talking about how she handles trolls, she said, 'If someone is so poisonous and angry, the only response should be love.' She was also called ‘Fake Panday’. Her response? 'You can call me everything else but not artificial. I am 100 per cent real.' One netizen even asked her to get married. Responding to it, the actress shared that she has no such plans now, and to ask again when she is 30. Some time back, Ananya had launched a special initiative called 'So Positive' against social media bullying. After launching it, in an interview, the actress shared that she was bullied in school for her looks. She revealed, 'In school, I would always be uncomfortable because my skirt would expose my thin, chicken legs and wiry hands. I would get called a hunchback as I am tall and would always bend down to hear people. This is the reason trolls don’t affect me, as I have been bullied in school.' Meanwhile, on the career front, the actress recently wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming Shakun Batra directorial, co-starring Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Ananya, marking the end of a wonderful journey, shared a special post too.
