Mumbai rave party: Man in viral photo with Aryan Khan is a private investigator, alleges Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik | Hindi Movie News - Bollywood - Times of India

After the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in a drug case, many pictures and videos of the starkid from inside the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office went viral on social media. One of these pictures showed a bald man clicking a selfie with Aryan and people thought him to be an NCB official. However, NCB later issued a clarification that the man in the viral photo with actor Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan, is not an officer or employee of the investigating agency. The statement by the NCB read, 'NCB categorically clarifies that the man in this picture with Aryan Khan is not an officer or employee of NCB'. Now the question is who is this man? Well, the man is said to be a private investigator as alleged by a Maharashtra Minister who raised questions on how two outsiders were allowed in the NCB's operation. A senior Nationalist Congress Party leader Nawab Malik said private detective KP Gosavi is the name of the man holding Aryan Khan's hand and leaving him to the NCB office. The narcotics agency in a statement said that he was one of the 10 'independent witnesses' in the case. Malik also added that Manish Bhanushali, a BJP Vice President, was also seen in visuals of the raids and claimed BJP's hand in maligning Maharashtra with a fake drug bust. Malik said, 'Our allegation is that for the last one year the BJP is maligning Maharashtra. They have locked the profiles of Manish Bhanushali and Gosavi. Who was Manish Bhanushali meeting in Delhi and Gujarat? How is he present at an NCB raid? BJP is using NCB to malign Maharashtra.' Meanwhile, rubbishing all the allegations, Manish Bhanushali told news agency, 'NCP leader Nawab Malik has put wrong allegations against me. BJP has nothing to do with it (the arrests). I received information on October 1 that a drugs party was to be held. I was with the NCB officers (at the ship) for more information.' Notably, the NCB named both the men as independent witnesses to the raids as NCB officer Gyaneshwar Singh said, 'The allegations are baseless. NCB reiterates its procedure has been and continues to be legally and professionally transparent and unbiased'. Now, talking about the case, after arresting superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in its recent drug bust at the cruise in Mumbai, the Narcotics Control Bureau has now reportedly sent his phone to a laboratory in Gandhi Nagar forensic examination. The NCB had earlier claimed before the court that 'shocking and incriminating' evidence was recovered in his WhatsApp chats that hinted towards the links to international drug trafficking. Not only this, but the officials have also claimed that Aryan used several 'code names' while discussing the modes of payment for procurement of drugs.
