New mommy Anushka Sharma recently talked about the physical changes her body has gone through post pregnancy and how she feels about it now. Looking a certain type has always been considered as the need of the entertainment industry. In her first interview, after embracing motherhood, Anushka spoke about postpartum weight gain and how 'worried' she was during her pregnancy. During a candid interview with a magazine, the new mom revealed, 'Only a week ago, I was telling a friend how afraid I was because of this pressure that’s thrust upon women to look a certain way, even before they become mothers, before they get pregnant, and definitely after they’ve had a baby. Despite being somebody who is fairly self-aware, I was worried. I kept thinking – am I going to hate my body?' Anushka is a fitness enthusiast and has been working out post her delivery, but being Vamika's mother is a full-time job and hence she admits that taking out time for exercise is very tough for her now. Talking about it Anushka further revealed, 'My body is not as it used to be; it’s not as toned as it was. And I'm working towards it because I like to be fit. Having said that, I am so much more comfortable in my skin today than I was before, even when I had that ‘perfect body'. Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli welcomed a baby girl in January this year and the actress is currently enjoying her motherhood and is actively working as a producer. On the work front, she was last seen in Aanand L Rai's 'Zero' with Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan. And for those, who are waiting to see her on the silver screen, the actress is reportedly set to feature Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami's biopic.
