An FIR has been filed against the Queen star after she made controversial remarks on the farmers' protest and allegedly called it a 'Khalistani movement'. A day after the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee submitted a complaint against Kangana, a Mumbai-based businessman Amarjeet Singh Sandhu has also filed an FIR against her at Khar police station in Mumbai. According to officials, the actress has been booked under section 295A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the Indian Penal Code and further investigation is underway. In his complaint, Sandhu has accused Kangana of making derogatory remarks against his community in a post on Instagram. Earlier, DSGMC had filed an FIR against the Manikarnika actress at the cyber cell for allegedly using derogatory language against the Sikh community on social media. The committee also issued a statement alleging that the actress had 'intentionally' and 'deliberately' portrayed the farmers' protest as the 'Khalistani movement'. In the statement, DSGMC said, 'Kangana dubbed the Sikh community as Khalistani Terrorists, and recalling the massacre and genocide that happened during 1984 and earlier, as a planned and calculated move on part of (late former prime minister) Indira Gandhi'. President and Shiromani Akali Dal leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa also asked the government to take action against her or send her to a 'mental hospital'. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote and I quote, 'She should either be put in a mental hospital or in jail. We demand strict action from govt for her hateful content on Instagram.' Notably, after the Prime Minister announced a rollback of three farm laws, Kangana penned a note which read, 'Khalistani terrorists may be arm twisting the government today…But let’s not forget one woman…The only woman prime minister who crushed them under her shoes. No matter how much suffering she caused to this nation…she crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of her own life…Lekin desh k tukde nahi hone diye.'
