Sukhwinder Singh has an iconic voice which has reverberated across the nation for years. In his career, he has sung tons of songs in various languages. However, the singer has landed himself in a controversy over the filming of one of his upcoming songs. A photo from the shoot of his upcoming music video Hanuman Chalisa has surfaced on the internet, and Sukhwinder can be seen wearing shoes and dancing on the song. The song is being shot at the Chetsingh Fort in Varanasi and the photo from the shoot is going viral on social media. After seeing the photo, a certain section is irked with Sukhwinder since it is a Hindu tradition to remain barefoot during religious activities or at religious places. And his decision to sing and dance to Hanuman Chalisa wearing shoes has not gone down well with them. He is now being trolled on social media for having hurt religious sentiments. Notable, even the background dancers are all seen wearing shoes and performing to the track. Sukhwinder has reacted to the controversy as well, saying that anyone whose religious feelings have been hurt by his act should come forward and say it, adding that it was not his intention to hurt the feelings of people. According to reports, the song shoot of the devotional music video is taking place in Varanasi at places like Sankat Mochan Mandir, Nandeshwar Ghat, Chetsingh Fort and Dashaswamedh Ghat. The video is being directed by Rajiv Khandelwal and choreographed by Lollipop Pradhan. Sukhwinder Singh has delivered many hit Bollywood songs like Chaiyya Chaiyya, Chak de India, Haule Haule, Kar har maidaan fateh and many more.
