Ever since the film arrived on the small screen, it has surpassed several big films. When compared to Tom Cruise’s Top Gun Maverick, the film is surprisingly miles ahead in terms of viewership. Talking about the Hrithik Roshan starrer, it saw many people making fun of it due to several similarities with Tom Cruise’s biggie. In reality, barring a few commonalities, both films were totally different from each other.

For those who don’t know, Fighter premiered on Netflix on 21st March. As per the official data of the streaming platform, during the opening week (18-24 March), the film amassed 5.9 million views across the globe. On the list of top 10 non-English films for the same period, the Hrithik Roshan starrer was placed in the 3rd place and watched for 16.2 million hours.

Again, in the second week (25-31 March), Fighter has bagged the 3rd spot with 6.5 million views. It’s a surprising trend as the views were grown as compared to the opening week. It was watched for 17.8 million hours. In total, the film amassed 12.4 million views in just two weeks.
